The spinal column and the nervous system by Sylvain Limonier DC, Doctor of Chiropractic (USA ) in Paris

The brain and nervous system of a human being are programmed for an optimal functioning.

Your brain sends vital messages which take the form of electric impulses. Anything that would interfere with that flow of messages which circulate through your nervous system should produce an alarm signal (pain).

Unfortunately it doesn’t always happen like this, or not until there is a certain accumulation of damage already.

Your spinal column protects the nervous system and the spinal cord, which is the link between the brain and the organs.

When a vertebra is not in alignment with the spinal colum, the passage of the electric impulse is obstructed, preventing the vital energy from circulating.

When the column finds itself thus badly aligned and balanced, the nervous system it protects put under a constant stress and is unable to work as its best.

Your organs and your glands cannot work harmoniusly, which can create disorders and cause illness or cartilage destruction : headache, migraine, torticolis, cervicobrachioligy, carpian canal, tendinitis, tennis elbow, lumbago, spondylolistesis, sciatic, scoliosis, cyphosis, discal hernia, arthrosis, back pain, desease of morton, flat feet, inflammation of the articulation or tendon, nervous irritation, back pain, chest pain, muscular spasm, muscular and articulation troubles.

.

In the chiropractic vocabulary these biomechanical disorders are called vertebral subluxations. Vertebral subluxation is often called the « silent killer » because you’re not aware of it until it’s too late.
